Fil-Am Heights
Fil-AM Heights is located southwest of the Luzon Island in the Philippines. The harbor is
sandwiched by the Zambales Mountain Range at the east and the Subic Bay at the
west and opens up to the South China Sea. It is northwest of the Bataan Peninsula and
southwest of the Zambales Province. Filam Heights is 110 kilometers north of Manila.
Manila Bay and the Bataan Peninsula separate SBF from Manila. The mountain ranges
around the Subic Bay area and the deep natural harbor provide excellent and protected
anchorage. In addition, these features make Filam Heights naturally sheltered from
typhoons as well as from the effects of the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo.
Fil-Am Heights belongs to Region III or the Central Luzon Region. It is one of the points
in the growth triangle and is an engine for economic development in the region. SBF is
a supplier of services and products for the Central Luzon Development Program (CLDP),
a regional growth area composed of the provinces of Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac,
Pampanga, Bataan, and Zambales.

The future site of 200 hectare International Retirement Community
|
The owner of this land named her 200 hectare land "FIL-AM HEIGHTS" in
honor of the friendship of the Philippines and the United States. This
land is perfect for residential, commercial, and industrial development.
The land is only 10 minutes away from the Subic Airport and the
Freeport. This land is located near the gates of the former US Military
base. The land has three crystal clear waterfalls.
Fil-Am Heights community will be located in the beautiful mountains of Subic, Olongapo,
adjacent to the gates of the former United States Base. The proposed community of
Filipinos and Americans will be perfect for a resort subdivision. Its' prime location is around
many tourist and scenic interests. It is located near the Anvaya Cove.
The Olongapo area is exploding as a tourist destination with the number of both domestic and
international guests on the rise. The transformation of the Subic Navy base into an economic zone
with a concentration on recreational activities and a wide variety of accommodations has placed a
new tourist destination on the map. Domestic tourists, especially those from Manila, are seeing the
area as a qualified alternative to many other tourist destinations.
The recent improvements in the Northern Expressway and the new Subic-Tarlac expressway are
making the area more and more accessible. The Subic-Clark destination is now expanding rapidly
and starting to be marketed as one location. only 45 minutes from DMIA airport at Clark, less than 2
hours from Manila. The rapid expansion of tourism facilities on the Subic Bay Freeport( SBFZ not
SBMA) balanced by the Eco-tourism and the attraction of the Bay brings people for a variety of
experiences. Clark has a number of Luxury hotels not duplicated elsewhere, a fine selection of
Casinos and Golf courses.
The International tourism is leading the way to the growth of Subic Bay. The number of visitors from
other Asian countries is growing so fast that it is hard to keep pace. Olongapo is for everyone's
budget. There are accommodations in all price ranges and cater to all sorts of activities. There is a
wide range of choices when looking for a Subic hotel or Subic resort"
